Please describe your good/best practice – this good/best practice may relate to a managerial practice, process, system, assessment, improvement or initiative within your organisation. Try to think of an innovative or beneficial practice that you are proud to share with another organisations. When recording your best practice please be specific and focus on one best practice. If a best practice can be broken down into more than one practice consider whether to submit more than one entry. Note that our definition of a Best Practice is something others would want to learn about that would be useful for their own organisation:

Approach. The planned intent across the Business Excellence categories of relevance for this practice
Deployment. How well engaged and applied with people and team across your organisation(who, how what when, where)?
Innovation. How is your practice is unique / different to other practices seen / experienced and how do you know?
Performance / Results Achieved – the practice contributes to the organisation’s planned KPI performance:
Evidence: Use of Benchmarking – the applicant can demonstrate that the practice is in fact, a very good or best practice
Improvement (Evidence of continuous improvement) – the practice has been continually improved and further improvement is planned ie a next practice is planned
Sustainability. Sustainability of the practice – confidence that it will be able to be deployed well into the future

If our pre-assessment is successful, we are willing to consider participation in the Australian Awards and pay the $550 (inc. GST)  National judgement and participation fee (for one person, and a 50% discount for the second and subsequent people from the same qualifying organisation) at a workshop to share and judge our application at a National workshop on Tuesday 20th and/or Wednesday 21st August 2013 at a city to be determined weighted from the basis of numbers of qualifiers. All participants will pay their own costs(travel/Accom etc as needed).

If our Australian final assessment is successful, we are willing to consider participation in the Global Best Practice and Benchmarking competition in Singapore on 30th and 31st October, 2013. (extra fees may apply)
